Reprint of 1900 trade catalogue of George F. Milnes & Co Ltd.

This book has been reproduced by a group of like minded tram enthusiasts to raise funds to assist the promotion, maintenance, recue, conservation and restoration of trams manufactured be George F. Milnes & Co Ltd. Hadley near Wellington, Salop.

The Catalogue is a reproduction of a publication to promote the new works of George F. Milnes & Co Ltd. Hadley. It is highly likly that it was published for the Tramway Exhibition of July 1900 in London.

There are only two Known original catalogues, one at The National Tramway Museum, Crich and the copy used to reproduce this book. This copy was purchased from a book dealer in New York in Jan 2020, one has to wonder how it got to the USA.

Those interested in trams or local Shropshire history will find this a fascinating incite to a lost industry.
